Western Tananger, watercolor 11x15
There's something about birds that I just thoroughly enjoy painting! I've noticed that I keep getting drawn back to them in my paintings.

That's beautiful. The color and simplicity is striking. I love birdwatching and attracting different varieties to my feeder. Thanks for such a lovely display.
Greetings Leanna
Wonderful art work on your Blog. As a Biologist up here in Canada I'm also a lover of birds. One of my hobbies is netting and banding these wonderful creature's. Every once and a while I will get a bird that returns to the area, its great when that happens. It's all about data collection and keeping track of their overall general health and migration patterns. Will return to your Blog.
Best Regards

Thank you, Bob! I don't think I paid alot of attention to birds till I started painting and now I can't get enough! Your job sounds very interesting and yes, I imagine one returning to the "nest" would be a thrill.
kab625, I have not sold any of my paintings as of yet, but I definitely would consider doing so! Contact me if you are interested.
Beautiful!
Grace and Peace,
